Soul Legends Radio IS THE Listener’s Station playing the best in Soul, Jazz, Funk, Gospel, Rare Groove, Reggae & Lovers Rock, Dancehall, Blues, R&B, Disco, Motown and Soulful House, broadcasting 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Plus when the DJs are NOT broadcasting you can listen to the fantastic SLR Jukebox (aka DJ Streamer) playing fabulous music for you or we might be re-running some cracking shows for your listening pleasure.
Gee Parker and Donna Bugeja started Soul Legends Radio station back in January 2012 having both been involved with other internet radio stations for several years.
As well as our fabulous DJs/Presenters broadcasting from the UK we also have DJs from the USA, Canada, Germany & Norway and continue to expand on this and are constantly filling more daytime slots.
Beverly Creswell was added to the SLR fb page by the late great Ged Huckin and was quickly nicknamed Bevalicious. She now tries to assist in the smooth running of the station, promoting shows, arranging the schedule and nagging the DJs ha ha!!
We also have a fabulous variety of SLR Merchandise and this was generally created and designed by the very talented Andy Scammell.
Andy has been involved with SLR for several years now and is an integral part of the station.
We call ourselves “The Listener’s Station” as we love our listeners to get as involved with the shows as possible whether it is submitting a complete playlist for one of our DJs or requesting a tune during a live session in our fun and sometimes very crazy and mad interactive chatroom/ facebook threads. New members to the chatroom are always made to feel welcome and soon find themselves becoming part of the SLR family.

Rick Cerra - 9th February 1949 - 4th September 2016 - (aka RickeyC). Rickey was a huge part of SLR - for the great shows he gave us plus the amazing support he gave all the other DJs. RIP Rickey xx
Lo Dyer
Ilona Dyer - 22nd February - 9th November 2020 - (aka Lo). The lovely Lo Dyer was a huge part of so many Internet Radio Stations over the years! An Administrator Extraordinaire who loved her music and the DJs with whom she gave her support to tirelessly! Miss you Lo xx
Ged Huckin
Ged Huckin - 14th June 1958 - 15th January 2018 (aka Gedders, Tractor Lad). Well what could you say about Gedders - a unique character with an amazing passion for music as well as a great knowledge. So many laughs and giggles along the way especially the kitchen stool incident - you had to be there to understand!! RIP Gedders!!
Paul Weatherhead
Paul Weatherhead - 23rd February 1974 - 25th May 2019 (aka Whipper). Paul was another fantastic DJ on SLR. His passion for music was not just playing the music of others, he was a great creator of music too!! RIP Paul!!
Gareth Thomas
Gareth Thomas - 24th July 1980 - 5th May 2023 (aka DJ Itchy G). Gareth was introduced to SLR by Minty and soon became a well loved Presenter and DJ. He started with some cover shows and then became a permanent fixture on a Saturday with his Happy House Show. A very upbeat show playing some of the tunes he loved and his passion for the music spread to his listeners! A lovely guy and true family man through and through - RIP!!

When connecting to our radio stream, your IP address will be sent to our radio service provider in order for us to track listening trends and provide licensing bodies with royalty reports. Once our service provider receives your IP it is immediately anonymised, deleted and becomes untraceable. This data is never sold on or passed to other companies.

For Android Apps
The {StationName} Android App does not collect any user data during use. In order to provide audio control during Phone App use, the App will monitor the 'state' of the phone App (Idle, in call, call ended) if applicable on your device. At no point will the App be able to listen in or derive phone numbers or data.The Android App also requires access to local storage. This is to store its configuration for faster launch times.
